Welcome to the Navy
Located in Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, the leading fishing port in Lower Normandy, set in a natural harbour formed by a fault in the Bessin, the Hôtel de La Marine, overlooking the harbour with sea views, welcomes you for an unforgettable stay in the heart of the D-Day landing beaches.
Built in 1902, largely demolished during the Second World War and rebuilt in 1952, the Hôtel de La Marine is an iconic establishment in Port-en-Bessin, well known and highly regarded by local residents. It is situated near Bayeux, a town renowned for the Tapestry of William the Conqueror and its 13th-century Notre-Dame Cathedral, as well as all the D-Day landing sites. The Hôtel de La Marine and its entire team of professionals will welcome you and offer you all the benefits of a relaxing and enriching stay. The hotel was fully renovated in 2023 and offers you every comfort you could wish for.
We are proud of our region's agricultural, maritime and gastronomic heritage. We want to offer you a unique experience in Port-en-Bessin.
We have 16 rooms spread across the 2nd and 3rd floors, accessible only by stairs. Whether they have a sea view or a courtyard view, all our rooms have been modernised and feature charming décor following their refurbishment in 2023.
